My name is Shanon McKenna and I am a happy wife, proud mother of two, and Jane of all trades. Whether using my hands, my mind or my body, I've always been a creatrix. I first went to School of Visual Arts in 1997. Eventually graduating in 2002 with a B.A. in Fine Arts - Sculpture. My partular interests, fiber and clay and creating art that was both beautiful and useful, was not of much interest to my classmates and before I'd even graduated I knew my talents would be better applied elsewhere. I enrolled at Sunbridge College for a life transforming two year program of studies culminating in a M.S in Waldorf Education. They say (wo)man plans and god laughs and so it was for us when we found ourselves expecting our first child a bit earlier than we had planned and so began the next part of my journey - motherhood. to be continued....
